Theater Review: Comrades

Last night the roomie scored tickets to Comrades the new play that our friend Nathan is staring in. The play was great a little darker than the stuff I usually see. As always the best part was seeing the actors rapid fire switching from character to character.

The play is about the true story of two pacificst italian immagrants in 1920's new york who are wrongly accused of murder becuase they are anti government anarchists. It explores the themes of class inequality and the injustice it creates.

Comrades plays May 1-10 at the catalyst theater.
